Services available at Woof and Puff
Dog Walking
Prior to booking your dog walking or pet care service, we would like to come and meet you and your pet. This will ensure your questions are answered and that we understand your dog’s needs and your preferences. In addition, this will help us to start to create a bond with your dog, and ultimately, for you to feel comfortable with us and our services (there is no charge for this initial consultation).
We offer regular or occasional walks tailored towards the breed, age, energy levels and temperament of your dog. Dog's thrive on the sights and especially smells that new environments provide. Thankfully, we are lucky to be surrounded by incredibly beautiful areas and countryside that easily provide the stimulus a dog needs. Dog walking is a great way for your pooch to get out and break up the day.
We will take your dog out for a walk to get a good leg stretch and some important mental and physical stimulation, returning to you healthy and happy. Your dog’s safety is paramount. We would prefer that all the dogs we walk be off their leads, but until we can be 100% sure that your dog knows us and will come back, we never let your dog off the lead. Each dog is an individual and in some instances, you may wish us to keep your dog on a lead at all times.
We aim to offer as individual a service as you and your dog need. The safety of your dog and those around us is vitally important to us at Woof and Puff, so we ask that all dogs are properly vaccinated and proof provided at our first visit. Unfortunately, we cannot walk bitches in season and ask that if your dog is aggressive or has problems around other dogs you let us know so that provisions can be made.
Home visits are also available to provide companionship/toilet breaks for older dogs or puppies.
The ‘run’ service we like to provide is reserved for dogs that we have walked before; we have a good relationship with and know how your dog will behave. Every dog is different and we will cater our care around that principle.
Emergency Key Service
You can guarantee that on your busiest day, or your most important day will be the day you forget your keys or inadvertently lock yourself out! If any of the above happens to you and we have a copy of your keys, we will make it our priority to get them to you as soon as possible.
Woof and Puff can either retain your keys (for that possible ‘next time’!) or return them to you when you arrive home. If we are in the vicinity at the time, this service is free of charge. If we need to make a special trip, a £15 charge will apply.
Home Visits and Security
Our home visits service is ideal for older dogs or puppies where a walk may not be appropriate. This service is also suitable for cats and other small animals We all know that our pets are happier when they are in familiar surroundings. If you have a puppy, older dog or other pet that prefers to stay home, we would be more than happy to pop in and give them the toilet stop, attention and play that they need.
We can visit your home up to three times a day to attend to your pet's needs. We feed as per your instructions, play with your pets, groom them if required, wash all pet dishes, refill and clean the litter tray/hutch or coop. Charges are per visit, not per pet. For added security while you are away, we will happily pick up your mail, switch your lights on and off, pull your curtains, water your plants, and put your rubbish out, giving the whole world the impression that you are still at home.
